Trinh Huu Long and Tran Quynh Vi are co-directors of The Vietnamese. Trinh Huu Long is a Vietnamese journalist based in Taiwan. He is the co-director of a nonprofit organization called Legal Initiatives for Vietnam, which runs two prominent online independent media outlets, Luat Khoa and The Vietnamese.
